Formed in Chicago in 1977, Ashby Ostermann Alliance (AOA) brought high-energy jazz-rock fusion and intricate instrumental compositions to the Chicagoland club circuit and regional stages throughout the late 1970s and 80s.
Following their self-titled 1981 debut LP on Divide Records, the Alliance reassembled in the studio decades later to record unperformed archival tracks, culminating in the 2018 release "Unfinished Business" on And Conquer Records.
